We present FUSE archival data on the absorption characteristics of the interstellar OVI (1032 A˚) line observed towards 17 early-type stars located within 200 pc of the Sun. We have detected OVI absorption along 5 of the 17 sight-lines sampled, all towards stars with distances >80 pc. The average volume density, nOVI, along these sight-lines was found to be 5.2×10-8 cm-3, a value in agreement with previous measurements of OVI in the local ISM. The location of the five sight-line detections places them just within, or just at, the neutral boundary to the Local Cavity.
