Fellows who are PhD student supervisors should be on the lookout for exceptionally good work from research students submitting their theses this year, for nomination for the RAS Michael Penston Astronomy Prize and the RAS Keith Runcorn Prize.
The RAS is offering one last chance to apply for grants towards International Year of Astronomy activities, but you'll have to apply soon.
The Society sends congratulations to Fellows of the RAS who have recently received prestigious awards for their work.
