In this talk, we summarize a recent calculation on the high-energy tau neutrino flux (103 ≥ E ≥ 1011 GeV) originating from the interactions of high-energy cosmic-rays with the matter present in our galaxy. The main source of this flux is the production and decay of Ds for E ≤ 109 GeV. For 109 ≤ E/GeV ≤ 1011, the tau neutrino flux from other heavier quark decays as well as from direct production is comparable to that from Ds.
