The paper describes experiments aiming at observing the total solar eclipse by the expedition team of the Úpice Observatory. The "Shadow-tracking expedition" project of multi-station observation of the solar eclipse includes a selection of a rather lnon-standard observation site at the end of the totality path, just before the sunset. Conditions of this observation should allow for a unique observation of broad surroundings of a part of the solar corona on a very dark background of the evening sky. This should allow not only for the observation of the corona over the northern and western limbs reaching to large distances away from the Sun, but also for the observation of the F-corona transition into the zodiacal light. Thanks to the capture of stars with assumed brightness at least 9 magnitudes, in this observation one could also detect objects orbiting inside the orbit of Mercury called "Volcanoids".
