The paper presents an analysis of lateral-shear interferograms based on double-exposure holograms from the Galilean telescope. It is shown experimentally and theoretically that the telescope's field-of-view can be controlled by spatial filtering in the hologram plane. Spatial filtering in the image plane of an opaque screen provides recording of the interference pattern which characterizes phase distortions of the reference wave caused by aberrations of the wave-forming optical system.
