The present analysis of X-ray observations of the last, Novenber 7-8 revival of a giant coronal arch first observed on November 6, 1980, attempts to ascertain whether these successive brightenings repeat without apparent modification or vary, in view of comparisons of these data with observations from previous revivals. While there appears to be some plasma depletion in the November 7-8 event, the general topology does not exhibit any significant change; some flux tubes appear, however, to have disappeared between November 6 and 7. A comparison is also made between the 'permanent preexisting structure excitation' and 'separate reconnection formation' interpretations of the arch revivals.
