A 2-Myr integration has been conducted for the sun-perturbed orbits of Saturn's four retrograde satellites, confirming that the apsis of Pasiphae is locked to that of Jupiter; its orbit is chaotic, with a 5000-yr inverse Liapunov exponent. The locking of two of these four satellites into this secular resonance, in addition to constraining theories of these satellites' formation, further suggests that slow orbital evolution, possibly due to Jupiter mass changes or to dissipation, may have played a major role in the determination of the current orbits.
