About 7300 extensive air showers were analyzed, and graphs of shower size vs average shower age and of characteristic length vs shower size were obtained. A change in the slope of these graphs is noted around shower size (Ne) of 10 million. This indicates qualitatively that the interaction character changes in collisions around 10 to the 17th power primary energy. Therefore, the interaction itself includes at least large transverse momentum phenomena. Even at distances far from the core, high energy events in the size region around 10 million indicate that the transverse momentum is larger by more than a factor of two than the low energy region.
