The location of s-Cepheids in the H-R diagram, derived from observations
is compared with the theoretical blue edges of fundamental and first
harmonic mode pulsation. Results suggest that SMC s-Cepheids are first
harmonic pulsating stars. There is some evidence that SMC s-Cepheids are
brighter than other SMC Cepheids, supporting this conclusion.
