The Fourier analysis method is applied to hard X-ray data obtained from Cyg X-1 with balloon-borne detectors. Power spectrum densities are determined for the OFF and ON states, and it is found that the power spectrum density exhibits a significant (99.7%) peak at about 0.052 Hz for the ON state but not for the OFF state. The results suggest that 24% of the hard X-ray intensity of Cyg X-1 is variable with a period of 19.2 sec.
