The contribution of gamma-rays from the galactic plane to the cosmic-ray counting rate is calculated. The calculations are based on gamma-ray flux measurements carried out by means of the Baksan extensive air shower (EAS) gamma-ray detector. A good fit to the known cosmic-ray anisotropy was found for primary energies of 10 to the 13-10 to the 14th eV.
