Among several classes of active stars and solar flares, a tight relation between X-ray and radio luminosities is found. This relation, which implies an intimate physical connection, has been subject to coordinated radio and X-ray studies for particular active binaries and dMe stars, but never among the one of the most active classes of stars, pre-main sequence stars. Here we propose a pair of 40 ks coordinated VLA/ACIS-I observations of the nearby young cluster around NGC 1333 to examine the X-ray radio connection simultaneously for several scores of stars. Using our extant Spitzer data we have a full inventory of the stellar types in this cluster which contains protostars and outflow sources in addition to classical and weak T- Tauri stars.
