Observations with the Australia Telescope show that F9 and I09149-6206 are both relatively weak radio sources. Photometry indicates that the Fairall 9 galaxy has an ellipticallike profile and colors while the galaxy underlying the IRAS source I09149-6206 has a substantial disk. Both galaxies are luminous with M(v) = -23.0 mag. These data suggest that the underlying galaxies of radio-quiet quasars may well be a mixture of ellipticals and spirals.
