Scientific paper

The paper describes observations of the radio source associated with the HD 193793 (WR 140) star, carried out with the European VLBI network. The observations established the size and the surface brightness of the variable component of radio emission and confirmed its nonthermal nature. The results support the hypothesis that the nonthermal emission is associated with the O star orbiting around the WC7.
