An investigation was made of spatial distributions of spectral indices of solar cosmic rays with energies in the 5-40 MeV range in the polar cap during the anisotropic stage of angular distribution of protons in a series of events. A north-south asymmetry of spectral indices of proton fluxes was found in the deep polar cap region, contrasting with proton spectra detected in regions of polar peaks, cusps, and valleys.
