We give a class of exact solutions of the 5D equations of general relativity. These solutions are static, spherically-symmetric in ordinary 3D space, and depend on 3 parameters. In the induced-matter interpretation, where the extra dimension is responsible for phenomenological quantities like density and pressure in 4D, the solutions represent shells of matter around a local centre. Such solutions could be applied in astrophysics and particle physics.
