A search for periodic emission of X-rays from MXB1730-335 during long, flat top bursts has led to the identification of two events out of the 63 bursts detected which clearly show peaks in the frequency power spectra at about 0.5 sec in period. The periods of the two bursts are sufficiently different, however, to cast doubt on the likelihood of a pulsar period's detection in these data.
