This paper gives the results of investigations of the frequency
dependence [Gamma]([latin small letter f with hook]) of the abnormal
absorption of radio waves in the ionosphere. The data were obtained from
observations of cosmic radio noise at 9, 13, 25 and 40 Mc/s during
1965-1966 at Loparskaya (near Murmansk).
