High resolution narrow-band and broad-band red images will be obtained for the two Herbig-Haro objects HH1-2 and HH34 in order to explore physical scales never before seen in these objects. Broad-band images will be obtained of the dense and massive star cluster R136 in the LMC in order to examine the luminosity function of lower mass stars in this extraordinary star-forming environment. We will be testing the idea that lower mass stars do not form in regions where high concentrations of massive stars form.
