High precise information of gravitational field over the whole Earth will be obtained by satellite gravity gradiometry. In order to improve the precision of gravitational field by using gravity gradient data, the authors have deduced the iterative formula of gravity gradient spectral analysis based on harmonic spectral analysis theory. The simulated numeric results show: the convergence of the iterative algorithm is excellent; the convergent trend of the higher degree and order is better than that of the lower degree and order.
