Magnetic Cloud, The Cross-Section Distortion And Expansion

The model of Hidalgo (J. Geophys. Res. 108(A8):1320, 2003) has meant one more step in the understanding of the magnetic cloud events. We have modified a physical assumption over the y-components of the current density, have developed an algorithm which is able to resolve the elliptic integrals and have incorporated constrains over the parameters. This article is a new contribution for the improvement of the fitting procedure.
