We request time to continue the successful SMARTS GRB program currently being carried out with the 1.3m SMARTS telescope equipped with the ANDICAM imager. Our request is 8 nights of target of opportunity observing time during semester 2009A. Our primary science goals are: 1) to detect GRB afterglows and analyze their SEDs and temporal behaviors and 2) to search for the supernovae associated with low-redshift GRBs. The 1.3m at CTIO is well- suited for this program because it is equipped with the ANDICAM instrument, a dual-channel optical/IR imager. Our targets of opportunity can be easily accommodated on the telescope because it operates in a queue-based observing mode.
