We developed a polarimeter for Hα observation with ferroelectric liquid crystals, and installed it into the Solar Flare Telescope of NAOJ. The polarimetric sensitivity is of the order of 10-4, which meets the requirements for measuring the linear polarization due to the Zeeman effect in Hα. When doing polarimetry with such high sensitivity, we must take into account some polarimetric errors that have been ignored so far. In this paper, the sources of these errors are presented, and the achievements and limitations of our polarimeter are discussed.
