Powerful radio galaxies are among the most massive systems at each cosmic epoch. Radio polarimetry is a crucial tool for exploring how the ambient environment influences the evolution of these galaxies. I propose to obtain deep, high-resolution, polarimetric observations with CABB at 20 cm for a selection of high-redshift radio galaxies, which will be used as a pilot for the first detailed quantitative study of the environments of radio galaxies at high redshift. In particular, the technique of Faraday rotation measure synthesis will be used to probe the magnetoionic environment with unprecedented precision.
