Supernova remnant G315.9-0.0 has an unusual and highly collimated long "jet" that we believe is generated by the passage of a high-velocity pulsar that causes a bow shock and leaves a trail in its wake. In June 2008 we found at Parkes the pulsar J1437-5959, which appears to be responsible for this remarkable feature. We here request timing observations to further constrain the pulsar location with respect to the tip of the jet. This pulsar is also a candidate for detection of gamma-ray pulsations with the Fermi observatory, and our timing observations will aid this search. Finally we request polarimetric observations to try to discern the geometry of the pulsar system, e.g., the projected direction of its rotation axis.
