We present new results from multiband near-infrared imaging observations of the exoplanet candidate GJ 758 B. Acquired using the Gemini North adaptive optics system, these new multiband data provide the first glimpse into the atmospheric characteristics of the coldest imaged companion of a Sun-like star. While in some sense we can prove that GJ758B is a textbook example of a gas giant, in other respects the objects differs significantly from model predictions.
