The Einstein model of the universe is treated by a method that accentuates its structure in-the-large, and indicates several ways of establishing homomorphism of the associated group of space-time transformations with the Lorentz group. It is also shown that there exists a subgroup of the entire space-time group which is isomorphic with the Lorentz group.
