Measurements performed in 1991 with the Liulin instrument on the Mir station revealed the appearance and prolonged existence of two additional maxima in the distribution of particle fluxes in the region of the South Atlantic magnetic anomaly. These maxima are evidently due to fluxes of high-energy trapped electrons (E not less than approximately 10 MeV).
