The use of a facility in the World Wide Web for the confirmation of candidate near-earth objects (NEOs) is described. This facility allows users to derive topocentric ephemerides of objects recorded on only a single night. The facility is operated by the Minor Planet Center, which subsequently distributes more detailed information by e-mail to its subscribers if and when an object is confirmed as an NEO.
