A numerical experiment was performed to investigate variations of 113.4,
120.0, and 149.3 nm luminescence as a function of time of day and solar
activity. The intensity of this luminescence in the daytime midlatitude
atmosphere is examined in connection with variations of local time and
the F10.7 and F(phi)10.7 indices of solar activity.
