Reliable nuclear input is essential for simulations of supernovae and the associated nucleosynthesis. The manuscript reviews recent progress in calculating rates for electron captures and neutrino-nucleus reactions for supernova conditions and shows their influence on supernova models. Furthermore supernova nucleosynthesis including νp process, r-process and neutrino process is discussed.
