This paper presents a survey of muon-spectrum charge-ratio measurements with large zenith angle sea level spectrometers and underground telescopes, with particular reference to results from the Nottingham spectrometer.
Production of the sea level muons via long-lived secondary particles is found to explain adequately the majority of the results described.
