The HERA ep collider continues to be a great facility for uncovering new phenomena, both within and beyond the Standard Model. After an introduction to HERA kinematics, a few selected topics are reviewed, including F2 at low x; searches for leptoquarks, flavor violations, excited fermions and SUSY; and the recently reported excess of events at the highest x and Q2. The bright prospects for the future are also outlined.
