Observation data on the formation of stars and circumstellar disks are discussed. The data support the modern theory on the origin of a circumsolar protoplanetary disk as a natural byproduct of the formation of the Sun during the course of compression of a presolar gas-dust nebula with a small angular momentum. The processes of heating and transfer in such a disk and certain cosmochemical implications are discussed.
