A theoretical interpretation is attempted of the Clay and Crouch (1974) measurements of cosmic radiation with frequency distribution of the times of the primary impulse preceding a secondary particle shower. The primary radiation is assumed to be undulatory motion similar to light and to originate in rapidly moving sources of light. Relativistic contraction of frequency and wavelength and relativistic scale transformations of length, velocity, and time measurements are carried out, with a transition to Minkowski 4-space. Probabilities of showers are calculated and theoretically predicted distributions are plotted. The predicted distributions are at variance with the Einstein-Lorentz assumption of constant velocity of light or isotropic space, and the Clay-Crouch measurements are taken as a counterexample against the validity of the Lorentz transformation and isotropy of physical space.
