The TW Hya association is a nearby (50 parsecs) group of young (10 Myr) stars. I have identified candidate young brown dwarf members near the deuterium-burning limit using the 2MASS database. Far-red spectroscopy can confirm that these sources are young brown dwarfs. This sample will provide new constrains on the substellar IMF and the nature of activity in very young brown dwarfs --- but most importantly, it will provide a target list of bright sources for follow-up studies.
