In July 2009 the Lunar and Planetary Institute (LPI) launched a lunar
education new media portal, MyMoon. MyMoon utilizes social media
platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Flickr to engage — and
involve — the 18-35-year-old demographic in lunar science
exploration.
