On the days of January 20 and 23, 1991, the Soudan 2 underground
detector observed 32 underground muons coming from within 2° of the
direction of Cygnus X-3. Based on background studies, 11.4 were
expected. These days coincide with a large outburst in radio emissions
from Cygnus X-3.
