We describe the derivation of the Einstein equations for twisting type-N gravitational fields with a group of symmetries H2, as well as a generalization of a procedure for reducing the equations to a single third-order real ordinary differential equation, developed by one of us for the case with two Killing vectors. We discuss the case ∫ = -1, where ∫ is the homothetic parameter.
