The paper considers the problem of landing the planet Mars or the Ceres asteroid on earth for achieving changes in the earth's mass and in the orbital elements of the solar system and, therefore, in the earth's climate. In particular, the induced second-order perturbations are investigated up to the second-degree in eccentricity inclination of a model of the solar system after the landing of Mars or Ceres (in Siberia or in Pacific Ocean near the South Pole). The theory is established in terms of Jacobi coordinates and Poincare canonical variables.
