Spectropolarimetric observations of κ Dra reveal an enhancement of the linear polarization at the centre of the Ca II K line in relation to the nearby continuum, this being the first report of such an effect in a Be star other than for the Balmer lines. In keeping with previous observations, no polarizational change was detected across Hβ for this star.
