Scientific paper

CCD photometry is combined with photometry from the IAC-80 Telescope at Teide Observatory to calculate the rotation period of the near-Earth asteroid 1999 CV3. A period of 6.505±0.001 hours is found. This period is in good agreement with the period of 6.5107±0.0003 hours found at Ondřejov Observatory. The main uncertainty is changes in the light curve shape due to the rapid change in the illumination of the asteroid. The shape of the asteroid appears to be close to a tri-axial ellipsoid, with only small irregularities.
