An analysis is made of the effect of a weak magnetic field on the collisionless acceleration of superthermal electrons in an inhomogeneous plasma arising under the effect of a strong ordinary wave at plasma resonance. It is shown that, owing to the multiple intersection of the accelerating plasma layer during the rotation of fast electrons in Larmor orbits, the energy accumulated by these electrons can increase significantly. The multiple-acceleration effect sharply increases if the magnetic field intersects the accelerating layer at a small angle. The application of this effect to experiments involving the action of high-power radio waves on the ionosphere is discussed.
