Cassini CIRS far infrared limb spectra of Titan reveal spectral evidence for the ν6 cyanoacetylene (HC3N) ice feature at 506 cm-1(~20 micron) at latitudes 62N and 70N. We derive particle size and column abundances in Titan's lower stratosphere with mean particle radii of 2.3 micron and 3.0 micron at 62N and 70N, respectively, and corresponding ice phase molecular column abundances in the range 1-10 mol cm-2. As a result of dynamical circulation, we expect stratospheric clouds with small particle radii to form principally at high northern latitudes in Titan's winter hemispheres, with much lower abundances at low latitudes.
