Cross-sections and rate coefficients have been calculated for rotational transitions between levels J <= 20 of HCO^+, induced by collisions with ground state (J = 0) para-H_2. Results were obtained for temperatures in the range 10 <= T <= 400 K, extending previous work by Monteiro, who considered T <= 30 K and presented rate coefficients for J <= 4. Good agreement is obtained with the results of Monteiro at low temperatures.
