The specific features and the conditions of validity of simple analytic expressions for the average survival probability of solar electron-neutrinos in the sun, Psolar(νe-->νe), derived for the case of two-neutrino transitions in the linear and exponentia density approximations, are discussed. The accuracy with which these expressions reproduce the probability Psolar(νe-->νe), found by solving numerically the corresponding system of two-neutrino evolution equations using the standard solar model prediction for the electron number density distribution in the sun, is determined. A complete and simple analytic description of the solar electron- neutrino transitions in the sun is found.
