The spectrum of FG Sge which was obtained in 1986 using a 6-m telescope is analyzed. There is a paucity of iron peak elements while the abundance of heavy elements (Z greater than 39) exceeds the solar abundance by three orders of magnitude. A microturbulence velocity of 10 km/s was determined from the Nd II curve of growth. The radial velocity of FG Sge was determined to be -41 + or - 5 km/s.
