We propose to observe a normal elliptical galaxy, NGC 6868, which does not show a large-scale halo and is suitable to look at pure galactic properties. The observational goals are to obtain the abundance pattern of O, Mg, and Fe of interstellar medium (ISM) to constrain chemical evolution of elliptical galaxies, and to obtain gravitational mass profile of the system.
