Scientific paper

We propose to observe two quiescent novae and a peculiar dwarf nova, that shows signatures of a past nova explosion. Since these three systems are known X-ray sources and the inclination is also known, they are ideal targets to study the accretion physics. We show that important information on the accretion process and the physical parameters of the systems can be derived from the X-ray spectra and light curves of these sources.
