Measurements of galaxy cluster temperature evolution can be used for precision cosmology. Clusters have a wide range of temperatures, so characterizing the evolution requires determining the temperature function (TF) over a range of redshifts. There are 6 nearly independent low z TF measurements, but only 1 at high z. We propose to obtain the second. We will compare this independent measurement with the existing high z TF to check for biases and systematics. Our simulations indicate that none will be found. If so, both samples will provide constraints on cosmological parameters that are highly complementary to those from supernovae and the microwave background.
